When Maybelline Philippines released the announcement that Gigi x Maybelline collection will be released in selected stores nationwide, I just dropped everything and looked for the nearest store in my area that will sell the collection. I woke up very early expecting that many people would line up and splurged on everything that's available, but it turned out that I was too early for the stocks are still on transport. I waited for the stocks, and unfortunately, only limited products were available. Still, I went home with a big smile since I got the mascara, the brow liner, and all the shades of the lipsticks.

Gigi's line is a three-part makeup line that shows us a peek of Gigi's personal and exciting life, drawing inspiration from the experiences and places dear to the model's heart. Gigi's sunny California hometown inspired her to do a collection with golden hues and shades of reds which is the West Coast Collection.  The second collection on the other hand, is inspired by Gigi's second home, New York City, the  fast paced city got her working from day to night which made her curate a collection of nude lippies and eye makeup to make day-to-night looks, the East Coast Collection. Lastly, Gigi's work requires her to travel from coast to coast inspiring her to make an all-in-one palette to have all the makeup essentials every girl would need in their travels, the Jetsetter Palette.
